OK everybody! The Stampin' Studio is in the final stages! Most of the things are moved in and I am working around Marc working on the benches.

I am planning classes beginning in January. Please let me know if you would like to attend. I'm asking that you commit to a purchase of $25 instead of a fee as in the past. I need some help making sure I meet my minimums and I can't keep buying just to stay active. Thanks!
I have lots of fun things planned--stamping with straws, shaving cream, heat embossing, and using the Big Shot just to name a few. Hope to see you there!

Single Stamps

We're trying out something new! We're excited to offer  customers the chance to buy single pieces from these select stamp sets: Word Play, Perfectly Penned, and Seasonal Sayings. The offer will be available now through January 2, 2013. Details

  • These stamps are available on any order type-customer, demonstrator, workshop, or online.
  • You can find the stamp item numbers on the flyers.
  • We will not promote this offer on the Customer site, so it's up to you to spread the word. However, the single stamps can be ordered in the online store.
  • These won't be sent to you in our typical cases or packaging; they'll be packaged in cello bags. If you'd like a case for your stamp, you can buy our Clear-Mount Stamp Cases that come in packs of four (item 119105).
  • This offer is available for clear-mount stamps only.
  • The stamps won't come with a Clear-Mount Block, and you'll need to buy a block separately if you don't already have one. The recommended block sizes can be found on the flyers.
  • There's no limit on how many pieces you can buy.
  • This offer is not available in Quebec.
  • Remember that this is a pilot program, so take advantage of it while you can!

Fall is here!

Hi everybody! I posted some pictures of my stampin' room. Here are just a few of the cards I've been making. I used the new Wonderfall stamp set with matching Bigshot die and the Googly Ghouls kit to make the Halloween card. Enjoy!

Just Relaxing!

I'm sitting by the lake on our final day of camping trying to think of cards to make for my Stamping Buffet this weekend. The most exciting part is that while the Stamping Studio isn't quite complete, we are going to work in there! We will use card tables but we'll be using the new room. I will post pictures soon.

I'm so excited about this stamping buffet. We're doing Christmas cards. What a great way to beat the heat!
Have a great rest of the week. I'll post the cards  as soon as I have them made.

For My Swap

Hi everybody! I just made a card using the new In Colors Gumball Green (my favorite) and Midnight Muse and the new Hostess stamp set Summer Afternoon. Let me know what you think. I definitely LOVE our new stamp pads! You will too. They have a foam core instead of the felt core we've had in the past. They're wonderful!

The new catalog will begin on June 1st. Be sure to let me know if you'd like one. The cost is $5 or FREE with a $25 order.

Stampin' this weekend?

It's Friday night and Audrey is spending the night with a friend. I wonder what we'll do when she goes off to college? This place seems awful quiet without her here. Where are all the squeals when a dog jumps up? Where are all the giggles when Marc tries to tell a joke? We are enjoying the alone time but she's so much a part of us that I wonder a lot about what we'll do when she leaves us. A sad thought on this Friday night.

Well, it's been a busy week in Kindergarten! We had a lot of fun last Friday when the leprechaun, Liam, decided to make an appearance. We've worked on word families, finding more good fit books since they are all reading so well now and learning to add.

With that being said, I'm ready to relax in the stampin' room. We're still working on the Stampin' Studio--we painted the windows last weekend and will order the cabinets on Monday. I'm so excited! In the meantime, I will be upstairs creating something for our next Stampin' Buffet. I'm also getting ready for a Scrap A Thon to benefit Relay for Life. Busy but fun work for tomorrow!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I spent the day in my Kindergarten class after the leprechaun made an appearance a day early. There were green footprints and glitter all over our classroom. He left gold coins for each of them. We graphed Lucky Charms cereal. We had a great day but, boy, am I tired!

I had a stampin' buffet last weekend. I'll try to attach a picture with the cards we made.
May the luck o' the Irish be with you this weekend!

My Next Stampin' Buffet

It's been a rough couple of weeks. I've been under the weather. What I thought was a cold ended up being an ear infection, sinus infection and strep throat all at once! Where did that come from?

So I got behind on my stamping and had to make up for it today. I am posting nine of the ten cards we're making next Sunday, March 11. If you're interested in coming, be sure to let me know by Wednesday.

Just checking in

I know, I know... I keep saying I'm going to post more but I really mean it now. I've been getting email updates of Buffy Cooper's blog and it's so much fun to read. She tells about the things that happen in her life each day and then adds a card, bookmark or some other paper craft. OK--that's my goal! I will try to blog at least once a week and add something new each time.

I am sitting here today watching it rain and waiting on the possibility of snow. Snow doesn't happen very often around here so a few flakes makes everyone a little crazy. I've tried all day to get into the stamp room. All I can say is that my bathrooms are now completely disinfected. Why does that seem to take all day? Hopefully after supper I will head upstairs to get a few things done.

Off to check on the dogs, finish the tortilla soup that's for supper and then off to play in the stampin' room. I'll post a picture of my creations soon. I have a stamp camp to plan so I'll have some fun samples soon.
Happy Stampin'!

It's almost track out time!

Well, for those of you who understand what track out is, you know why I'm so excited! I teach kindergarten at a year round school. We are in for nine weeks and off for three weeks all year. Well, our next three week break is coming up on Friday. I plan to spend my time making cards and scrapbooking some--I am so far behind on that. I know, I should start the digital scrapbooks but I really like the feel of touching it to put it together. I love our My Digital Studio and use it for a lot of things. I may try to start doing some hybrid pages. That's when you do some digital and some traditional scrapbooking. I'll keep you posted. I'm working on cards this weekend for my next Stamp Buffet. My girls have 10 cards to choose from and can make as many as they like for a set price. If you're interested, contact me and I'll tell you more about it.
We're also working on the Stampin' Studio. We have all the drywall up and are trying to mud the seams. My husband, Marc, is a perfectionist and doesn't like the way it works so he's now at Lowe's trying to get something else to see if that works better than what he got in the first place. :)
Well, until next time,
Happy Stampin'!
